When I register for an Event and select my Team, who can see it?

If you have not added your Team to an Event, access to that Team is dictated by the rules described in the Team Visibility help article.

Once you've added a Team to an Event, organizers will be able to see the team that you've selected, regardless of Team Visibility settings (ie, Public, Unlisted, or Private). This is so that they are able to judge the validity of the Team and work with you, the player, to ensure that the Team meets the rules of the Event.

After the organizer has completed validation of your Team, it will be copied, frozen, and made public to all other players and spectators, and will remain so for the duration of the Event and beyond. If you want to make changes to your Team after it's been validated, you will need to speak with your Event Organizer and have them re-verify the changes.

Additionally, if you're playing in a 2v2 or 3v3 Event, other players in your party will be able to see the Team that you've selected, regardless of Team Visibility settings. This is so that they can see what you're playing and help coordinate the efforts of the Team.
